Reimagined Route Planner

Based on your feedback, our design team came up with some great improvements to enhance the user experience of our Route Planner. Check out all the neat changes for yourself – available now for iOS and Android – and take your bike for its first ride of 2025!

Full screen map

Route stats or map? You decide what you want to see and how much of your screen space should be taken up by your map. Simply pull up the bottom sheet to view your settings or make any changes, then swipe it back down to reveal almost a full screen map view. It’s completely responsive to suit your needs!

Routing options

You can also change any of the settings easily and watch your route adapt in real time. Find your favorite routing profile (balanced – fastest – popular), adjust according to your bike type (MTB, road bike, e-bike) and you’re all set to go.

MTB map style

Not sure if this trail is right for you? If you find yourself in the mountains, switch to the new MTB map style to view mountain bike scale numbers and colors of the official trails around you.

We’ve also added a new “Plan” button, which opens a fresh route planner around your current location, a larger, more detailed elevation profile, and an overall more user-friendly interface that we’re very happy to share with you. Take a look around the app and see if you can find all the new features!
