Surface, waytype & official routes along the route

Tap any point on our new charts to see what kind of surface you’re dealing with. Asphalt, gravel, or even cobblestones? Plus waytype and whether you’re riding along an official cycling route. The data you already knew from our aggregated charts, now mapped directly to where it happens on your ride.
Updated color system across all overlays

We reworked all overlay colors from scratch to make sure every category reads clearly next to its neighbors. Each category now has its own distinct color.

On every route detail page, there’s now a button that takes you straight to the surface and waytype overlay. No more hunting through all the details, one tap gets you directly to the data you care about.
Looking for the cherry on top?

The elevation profile on web has been completely rethought. Ascents and descents now live in distinct color worlds, so you can see at a glance how hard a section will hit. Steep gradients are highlighted directly on the route line, no math required.
