Self-Guided Navigation

Let’s talk navigation! Do you often ride routes on off-road segments, finding yourself beyond the limits of regular navigation mode? Or do you get distracted by turn-by-turn directions and would sometimes prefer to turn them off? Then we think you should try self-guided navigation. Our newest navigation mode simply shows you your live location along your route, and will navigate you reliably on off-road segments and undefined paths.

*Open the Bikemap app, enter your destination in the search field and select self-guided navigation mode.

Which navigation mode should I choose?

If you need to get somewhere fast along busy well-defined roads and don’t know the area well, go for turn-by-turn navigation. For a more independent riding experience through nature that lets you veer off the path if you wish, we recommend self-guided navigation. But remember, it’s totally up to you – set a default, or make your personal choice every time.

The freedom to ride anywhere

Both navigation modes are fully integrated to your Bikemap Bike Computer so you can keep track of your cycling activity. We hope you enjoy exploring this new option.
